Hey everyone!
Do you remember when you were young, like middle school, and your teacher arranged for your class to have penpals with another class? I'm not quiet sure how many people have actually had this done in there classroom, but my elementary school did it.
You see, I love foreign culture, as a good many of us I'm sure do. I can speak fluent Portuguese and elementary Japanese. So when I came across a site that was built for people to find pen pals from all around the world, I instantly fell in love with it. Not only because there are people from all over the world who can tell you about there own country, but they have something called foreign exchange. They help you learn their language! Isn't that cool?
This way, no matter how busy I am with school, work, or even friends, I can open up my mail box and get my daily/weekly practice of Portuguese and Japanese. Let's face it, most of us start learning a language, then give up because we have no way of practicing it.
I highly recommended you go to this site, if you have an interest in foreign culture, languages, and meeting new people.

I so remember doing this in my earlier years too. Except I don't think my letters where ever mailed...but that's besides the point...this is such a cool experience. Learning a new culture and taking the initiative to learn a new language is so cool, and it might be something everyone should think about. There are more opportunities to get jobs if one is bilingual because these jobs are high on demand. I totally recommend everyone follows, joshsroots4life,I know I will.
