The year of 2012-2013 has started for The 84 Movement and the Chapter registration and renewal are now open! The 84 Chapters across the state join the movement and take action locally and statewide to fight against tobacco. We want YOUR group to join and make the movement even bigger!
What's an 84 Chapter?
It's a group of teens either in a high school or community organization who want to fight Big Tobacco and be part of The 84 statewide movement. Chapters can be a group formed just for this purpose or a group that already exists, like a SADD Chapter or Health Careers Club. Chapters are The 84 in action, raising visibility through events, like the Great American Smokeout and Kick Butts Day. In recent years, Chapters even helped pass policies banning tobacco sales in pharmacies and revise signage ordinances. Chapters reach out to educate, inspire, and activate other youth!
