Holyoke Youth Task Force is a coalition of youth serving agencies, city officials, human service agencies and others. We have three youth groups that stem from the Holyoke Youth Task Force that are interested in becoming a chapter. The Holyoke Youth Comission, PHAB, and HERA    1. The Holyoke Youth Commission is a group of 17 youth who work on bettering the community for youth in Holyoke. This group has worked on such issues as teen preganancy, the drop out rate, and civics education    2. PHAB: The Peer Health Advisory Board of Holyoke Health Center is a group of 12 youth who are trained in youth-related health topics and train other youth on physical, emotional, and sexual health issues.    3. HERA: Holyoke Equal Rights Association is a support and leadership group for LGBTQ youth. They are very interested in working on tobacco issues as the GLBT youth community has a higher rate of smoking than their heterosexual counter parts.  All three groups plan on working in collaboration and within their individual groups on anti-tobacco strategies.
