What's the Word with the Kick Butts Day Planning Committee?

Hello 84 members! Listen up for some exciting news! The KBD Planning Committee had their third conference call. In the midst of so much planning, we are still connecting as a statewide movement, representing The 84, and ready to implement our ideas into the agenda for Kick Butts Day.

This week, we discussed the possible things we are going to do in the morning to get the crowd of 250-300 youth and adults pumped for the day ahead. We came up with a lot of ideas, including creating a slogan to chant throughout the day, connecting as a movement, and introducing what The 84 is and why we joined the movement.

After sharing all of these exciting ideas, we then discussed the new 84 t-shirts! We were so pumped as we talked about a color we think would represent The 84 and also be a favorite among the participants of Kick Butts Day. The 9 of use took a vote on a list of colors for the new color of the shirts everyone will receive on Kick Butts Day. Whatever color is chosen, we will use it as a cohesive theme for any decorations and posters that we will put up around the Statehouse. We will let you know what color we decide on soon!
