Join the Statewide Leadership Team!

The 84 Movement's Statewide Leadership Team (SLT) consists of youth who represent 20 Chapters across the state, are key leaders in their communities, and who share the  passion for fighting against tobacco issues in their communities. 

SLT members provide programmatic leadership, lead The 84's statewide events, and are key spokespeople for the 84 movement in the media. As a member of the SLT, youth have the opportunity to speak at statewide hearings (both virtual and in-person), create a larger community of friends, and enhance their leadership and advocacy skills.

Through the course of the year SLT design, facilitate, and participate in an Identity Series workshops to address identity, racism, structural barriers BIPOC experience, and more.

  • Application Deadline: June 21, 2026 at 11:59pm EST

  • Decisions Sent Out: July 10, 2026

  • SLT Overnight Retreat: August 18th - August 20th
